Over the past months, the team of Volterra has been regularly in El Bruc to check the state of the plantations. Given the very dry summer the results of the Cocoon are quite good, although we saw a big difference between species. For example, the olive tree “Cornicabra” has much higher survival rates than the type “Arbequina”. So, the function of the Cocoon will also need to be analyzed in respect to the best tree species per area.
