Cocoon presentation to Itacyl

Egbert Sonneveld met José Antonio Rubio and Enrique Barajas of the Woody Crops and Vegetables division of Itacyl in Valladolid. The question was to find public or private land in Castilla y Leon where trees and bushes can be planted preferably with the Cocoon. There is a possibility that companies want to plant trees to offset their CO2 emission. Itacyl, as a technological centre, likes to be involved in this type of plantations because the Cocoon could be a welcome solution on bare rain fed land. Several landowners are looking for agro forestry alternatives for farmland that is not giving a positive return anymore with annual crops. José Antonio and Enrique are going to mention the option with the Cocoon to several of their contacts that are asking for advice.
