Networking with Life Regenerate

On the 8th and 9th of April 2021, cork oak planting was carried out in two replication farms of the Life Regenerate project, located in the North-East of Sardinia.

In total 45 three-year old trees were transplanted, and Cactus protectors placed in order to prevent damages by grazing animals and/or wild animals. In one of the replication farms about 2/3 of the plantings were done using the decomposable Cocoons provided by the Life Green Link project, aiming to facilitate the survival of the transplanted plants under increasing water deficit conditions expected in spring.
